Web Development Intern at Idaho Youth Ranch

Overview of Organization: Idaho Youth Ranch is a non-profit 501(c)(3) agency that offers emergency shelter, residential care, youth and family therapy, job readiness training, adoption services, and more for kids and their families. We also operate a network of thrift stores that help fund our youth programs and services.
Responsibilities:
- Update and refine existing web pages to ensure consistent design, format and SEO efforts across all websites
- Develop a suite of customizable modules and templates for campaign landing pages and new content pages
- Collaborate with marketing team to optimize and grow website traffic
- Develop a style guide for data visualization to ensure consistency in company reports and presentations
Qualifications / Applicant Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a web design, digital communications, or related program preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency in Hubspot, Javascript, CSS and HTML preferred, but not required.
- Basic understanding of web design principles and user experience
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Skills intern will develop:
- Advanced web coding and SEO development
- Cross-platform design adaptation (web, mobile and tablet)
- Web optimization for performance and user experience
- Accessibility and inclusive web practices
Additional Requirements (such as a background check that is administered by your organization, drug testing, etc.)
- All interns will complete an application and background check (Idaho Youth Ranch will provide) before starting.
