OVERVIEW OF THE ORGANIZATION AND THE ROLE 

Helping with lesson plans for toddler class and executing activities. Creating a fun and safe classroom on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings for all kids care nights ( ends in May for the summer). One Saturday a month for parents night out. Planning activities for toddlers as well as Older kids. 

OPPORTUNITY / PROJECT DUTIES 

  • Age level lesson planning 
  • Implement lessons 
  • Evaluate outcome of lessons 
  • Research learning and development opportunities 
  • Class experience 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 21 and older 

SKILLS THAT INTERN WILL DEVELOP 

  • Making lesson plans 
  • Early childhood experience 
  • Team building 
  • Executing projects with children 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Safe sanctuary training (provided by cathedral) 
  • Background check (provided by cathedral)
