Marketing Specialist Part-Time Job/Internship
This position would be perfect for a Marketing/Business student who is searching for a part-time job or internship (about 20 hours/week) that has the potential to grow into a full-time career. $13 - $17 per hour depending on experience and/or academics.
Position Overview:
Hoff Companies is in search of a candidate to lead and take ownership of our marketing program. We are a building products distribution company with 5 locations including our corporate office. The responsibility of marketing our products has always fallen on the shoulders of our sales teams. We have decided to take a more centralized approach in our marketing efforts by creating this Marketing Specialist position at our corporate office in Meridian.
Because this corporate marketing program is new to us, we are looking for a creative individual who is willing to learn from and work closely with our location’s team members, has an excellent knowledge of marketing principles and software, and will take ownership and pride in building this position.
Responsibilities include:
Managing one-off and reoccurring projects
Working with our sales team and managers, suppliers, and customers to create and promote marketing efforts for our company
Creating marketing literature and presentations (brochures, catalogs, PowerPoints, etc)
Updating pricing in software and creating price pages
Maintaining our business websites
Updating spreadsheets and databases with statistical, financial, and non-financial information
Administrative support
Occasional brief traveling to outside locations (primarily in Idaho, Colorado, and Utah)
Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years schooling in Marketing/Business or equivalent working experience
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, photo editing software, marketing related software, online applications, and printing processes

Hoff Companies is a family owned and operated company with a long history in Idaho. We offer a great work environment and fair pay which will be based on experience. Our standard business hours are from 8 am to 5 pm, however scheduling and hours for this position can be flexible.
