Internship Description:
As a Dreamstyle intern, you will gain hands-on experience working in our home remodeling industry while collaborating closely with a mentor. Learning Objectives
1. The ideal candidate will gain experience with hands-on marketing methods, project management, and enhancing
brand image.
2. The marketing intern will grow in practicing traditional and non-traditional marketing methods, research skills,
and acquire understanding in the best ways to connect our products and services to our target market.
Duties & Responsibilities
▪ Project Management:
- Non-traditional marketing projects
- Print marketing projects (i.e. create a Dreamstyle events and/or marketing guide)
- Digital marketing projects (i.e. create digital viewing portfolios, brochures, or packets)
▪ Freedom for innovation, feedback, and creativity (i.e. explore social media marketing options)
▪ Customer Relationship Research: seek, survey, and interview community members seeking interest in remodeling
their homes / gain feedback on needs, concerns, etc.
▪ Plan marketing strategies for non-traditional and traditional marketing
▪ High quality and professional execution of engagements and special projects
▪ Research information on our products, customers, and competitors then present the information to mentor
▪ Enhancing brand image through an assortment of avenues and explore ways for community involvement
▪ Gain confidence in applying traditional and non-traditional marketing strategies
▪ Grow in knowledge (i.e. read business, events, communications, and marketing related materials to increase knowledge then present new learning to mentor)
Internship Benefits
The intern will receive hourly pay and may work with their University Department Internship Coordinator should they wish to receive academic credit for this experience. They will have great mentorship, opportunities for hands-on experience, and experiential learning.
*Great potential to make much more than $11.00/hour through bonuses depending on work results!
