Summer Marketing Internship

Page One Power is looking for a student who is passionate about marketing and aims to gain experience with print media, email marketing, trade show marketing, organic social media, content marketing, marketing research, SEO, CRM basics, and website management with Wordpress and HubSpot. 

The Page One Power Marketing Intern will be responsible for a wide range of activities to help familiarize them with the various components of digital marketing and SEO. This is a unique opportunity to learn about a variety of marketing channels while gaining hands-on experience with practical digital marketing tactics that can be applied broadly to many roles post-graduation.

As our Page One Power Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to be part of a cross-functional marketing team, alongside sales professionals, website analysts, project managers, graphic designers, and content marketing specialists.

Desired experience and skills
  • Experience using Google Suite, Google Sheets, and Google Docs required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required. 
  • Experience with Twitter preferred

Educational Benefits:
Over the course of 8-10 weeks, our intern can expect to learn about the value of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) in today’s online economy.This experience will broaden a student’s perspective of how the internet works and how businesses are deeply affected by their online presence, or lack thereof.

  Gain hands on experience with: 
  • Social media marketing - management of social media accounts (Twitter and Facebook) for Page One Power and PAGES SEO Magazine.
  • Email marketing - drafting, editing, and managing promotional email campaigns for Page One Power and PAGES SEO Magazine.
  • Content creation - writing, designing, and copyediting for blog and website pages for Page One Power and PAGES SEO Magazine.
  • Market research - assistance with market research via customer surveys, data analysis and organization, and communication with customer service team.

Schedule Requirements: 
Page One Power is offering an 8-10 week summer internship that includes hours necessary to earn 3 credits in most degree programs. Our team will work with chosen applicants to determine the best schedule for them, but the Marketing Intern will be responsible for 15-20 hours of work per week in our Page One Power office to be completed during our company hours: Monday-Thursday 7am-5pm.

To be successful in the role our Marketing Intern Must: 
  • Complete internship between May 20- July 26, 2019. 
  • Attend all trainings/workshops
  • Complete daily tasks
  • Manage deadlines
  • Maintain weekly/bi-weekly meetings
  • Show completion or progress towards personally curated/company goals
  • Report, turn-in, or show progress to supervisor at the end of each day
  • Maintain behavior and attendance in accordance with Page One Power’s policy manual
  • Have a strong desire to learn!
