Treefort Music Fest Kidfort Intern 2020
Kidfort is a branch of the Treefort Music Fest where fans of all ages can join the fun! The Kidfort crew is looking for an intern for the 2020 season who can add specific skills and perspectives to an already robust youth engagement program. This person will be extra excited to work with kids and teens. They will have an interest in learning about the planning process to curate programming for Kidfort festival wide. They will be fast on their feet and happy to work on an energetic team.
Tasks
- Attend pre-festival crew meetings (January-March)
- Social Media assistant for Kidfort accounts - twitter, facebook, & Instagram
- Post weekly January-February
- Post daily in March
- Create stories & multiple posts during the festival
- Attend and assist at the Youth Variety Showcase auditions in February (date TBA)
- Act as a mentor & supervisor for the Junior High Cadets program before and during the festival (Dates and hours vary)
- Volunteer assistant coordinator
- Work directly with the Kidfort Director and crew to activate all events during Kidfort (March 27-29, 2020 - Friday, Saturday & Sunday 9:00 am - 6:30 pm)
Dates
Join the team in January & attend crew meetings. Attend & assist at the Youth Variety Showcase auditions in February. Fulfill remaining responsibilities in March. There will be many, many events in March. Treefort Music Fest is held in Downtown Boise, March 25-29, 2020.
