General Description & Purpose:
Excellent opportunity for an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a career in graphic design. Gain hands-on experience designing and executing marketing material for print and digital channels. Boise State University Health Services seeks to hire one motivated student to work with the Promotions Coordinator to design and implement marketing materials. This position will have an opportunity to contribute to various aspects of print, digital, web, video and other as assigned.
Successful candidates will have strong communication skills and a track record of meeting deadlines. Candidates with prior experience in graphic design are strongly encouraged to apply.
Duties:
- Develop, brainstorm, sketch, and design for various campaigns as it relates to Health Services/BroncoFit
- Work closely with students and staff of to carry out and execute marketing materials for their perspective marketing initiatives, events, programming and out reach
- Prepare images and graphics for digital applications; digital screens, social media and website imagery
- Assist with website updates and content management via Wordpress
- Assist with photo and video production (shooting, editing, etc)
- Create designs/marketing material that aligns the Boise State brand standards
- Other projects as assigned
To Qualify You Must Be:
- Well versed in the Adobe Creative Cloud Software (Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop)
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames
- Well-spoken and well-written
- An energetic individual and good communicator
- Team player
- Able to work well under pressure
- Able to make a 1 year commitment
- Pursuing Bachelors or Masters Degree
