Marketing Intern
RevoluSun Idaho is a locally owned and operated clean energy installer in Boise, Idaho. Our close-knit team is passionate about sustainability and dedicated to at spreading solar and energy storage technology to homeowners and businesses across the state.
We’re seeking a part-time (20 hours/week) Marketing & Communications paid intern for the summer. The intern will be responsible for posting on social media, drafting blog content, and assisting with events under the direction of the Marketing Communications Coordinator. The intern will also be responsible for helping develop leads, manage the customer experience and develop and implement new marketing strategies.
Duties:
- Posting on and assisting with content creation for our social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google My Business
- Assisting with creating and designing printed materials, sales tools, other graphics
- Drafting relevant blog and landing page content for our website
- Helping strategize digital marketing strategy and maintaining digital ads
- Locating events that target our demographic, organize materials, and help plan for company-branded events and initiatives
Preferred knowledge and skills:
- At least one Adobe Creative Cloud app - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier, or similar
- Canva, Adobe Spark, or any other simplified content generation tool
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices
- Content writing/copywriting and blog post best practices
- Google Ads and Analytics
Requirements:
- Candidate must be a college/university student or recent graduate (up to 1 year) studying graphic design, marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
- Position is 20 hours/week and unpaid
- Position is located at our office in Boise, Idaho, but is considering remote interns due to COVID-19. We have a very fun, laid-back office culture!
