Information Technology Management Intern

The Information Technology Intern will be responsible for continuing to build out the Idaho Partners for Good tech infrastructure including fine-tuning the website, database systems, assessing current and projecting future IT-related business options to ensure we have the right hardware, software, and applications. He/she will work independently to establish technical solutions that best support the organization’s goals. 

RESPONSIBILITIES  
  • Analyze the current integration needs including interviews with key stakeholders to identify application and data requirements, as well as the input/output systems needed to operate the organization effectively.  
  • Create HTML codes and trackers for communication campaigns to analyze effectiveness.  
  • Maintain and/or upgrade software and licenses as necessary based on data analysis. 
  • Fine-tune and make recommendations for improvements to functions and maintenance of website including troubleshooting and the ability to develop and insert HTML codes, as needed.  
  • Participate in weekly meetings to gain insight and for support and guidance.  
  • Identify tech best practices for nonprofits and come up with solutions that are a best fit.  
  • Maintain open communication and positive relationship with other volunteers.  
  • Analyze the security environment and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Help develop the back-end for Microsoft Teams and the Office 365 suite in order to migrate from the current google platform to this OS.
  • Help develop the infrastructure to track and evaluate the recruiting, education and evaluation of key positions including: board members. partners, and capacity builders.

This is a Bronco Corp Internship

  • Cannot exceed 29 hours per week (this includes other on-campus employment)
