Internship Location:  1406 Eastman St. Boise, ID 83702 

Internship Timeframe: Negotiable May 20th - September 10th, 2021; Time investment will vary from 10-20 hours per week. Some flexibility offered for unpaid time off for travel, etc. 

Internship Description:  Join our small hardworking creative team for a summer that will stay with you forever. TRICA’s Summer Intern will have the opportunity to pull back the curtain and discover a place where arts, humanities, youth education, placemaking and business all meet. Hint: Inside a rescued cathedral in Boise’s Hyde Park District. 

TRICA’s Summer Internship is an outstanding opportunity to work with passion and intensity, receive high-quality mentorship and learn broadly while giving back to your community. 

The TRICA Program Assistant summer intern will have the opportunity to contribute in meaningful ways: 

Planning, development and evaluation of youth arts programs 
Research and reporting on potential business partnerships and vendors  
Donor recognition and fundraising strategies for the coming year  
Data entry & Salesforce database interaction to keep in touch with donors, volunteers and parents 
Revenue-generation ideas and merchandising 
Office setup and workflow planning, prepare new facility for public opening 
Event planning, community engagement and hands-on program management 
 
Compensation (paid for by Boise State University): $12.50 dollars per hour, up to 160 hours - along with unpaid time off, networking opportunities and endless psychic rewards. 

Requirements / Desired Qualifications  
Self-starter able to jump in and anticipate opportunities and needs of a fast-paced team. Trustworthy and reliable, able to engage directly with our partners, donors, children and families. Bold positive attitude, ready to grow, to be inspired and hopefully inspire others! Good communicator, whether it’s creating a simple 1-page project overview, flyer or info-graphic, presenting and interpreting web analytics, or making a PowerPoint that keeps the board members awake. Light physical work is required in this position, with the potential to be quite physically active if you so desire. A personal laptop, internet connection and mobile phone are needed. The internship takes place at least 75%-80% in-person—please be fully vaccinated and ready to go!
