Human Centered Design Student Volunteer

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services are looking for student volunteers who have a passion for Human Centered Design!!

Our Customer Focused Research Group (CFRG) focuses on weaving customer experience as a business discipline using human-centered design methodology into the fabric of CMS culture.

We're looking for assistance with synthesizing over 9,000 pieces of data gathered through the immerse phase from request for information (RFI), 1:1 interviews, and listening sessions.

The work is remote reading transcripts, extracting, tagging, and theming data in Excel, writing theme statements and descriptions, and identifying insights and opportunities for improvement.


Eligibility:


The student must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a U.S. citizen;
  • Be at least 16 years of age;
  • Be enrolled at least half-time in a high school, vocational technical school, an accredited educational institution of higher learning (college/university), or a certificate program.
