The TRIO programs are part of the Center for Multicultural and Educational Opportunities. TRIO STEM, TRIO Rising Scholars and TRIO Teacher Prep are located in the Education building, room 222, and need tutors for the 2022-2023 school year. Starting wages for undergrads is $12.00/hour. Grad students starting wage is higher.

We hire tutors to work one-on-one with our students to develop study skills required to be successful for the specific course, as well as to assure that they understand the material.
Work Study students please feel free to apply.

It is not necessary that tutors have held paid tutoring positions in the past. A student who has at least the minimum GPA has the study skills to be successful. Anyone who has helped siblings, who has helped fellow students, or who has worked in study groups, has the required qualifications to tutor.

Work Study students please feel free to apply.

Requirements: minimum of 3.00 GPA and must have at least 12 college credits. Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits (5 for grad students). In order to tutor a specific course, you must have taken and have earned either a B but preferably an A in that class. The exception here is Math courses. If you have an A or B in Calculus I, you can tutor any lower math course.

The student and the tutor determine their own schedules. There will be the option to tutor in-person on campus, or remotely. That to be determined between the tutor and the student.
