Social Media and Communications Student Employee
Boise State Admissions is looking for a student Social Media and Communications Intern for Fall 2021. This is a vital role intended to serve as an internship. This internship will help the student learn through hands-on experience.
Job roles will be:
- Create and manage weekly content for Boise State social media channels: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube
- Be available to respond to Direct Messages in a timely manner
- Promptly reach out to new followers directly to offer our help and availability
- Monitor all social media channels to engage with any/all accounts (likes, comments, shares)
- Learn how to organize and plan social media content
- Design high-quality graphics to share on social media keeping in line with brand standards using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Spark (experience preferred, but not required)
- Work side-by-side with supervisor to brainstorm, plan and implement current/new ideas for all communications channels
- Search for new photos from the University to use in social, email and print material
- Brainstorm new video content with the communications team for all social channels
- Assist recruitment team with Facebook or Instagram Lives
- Other duties assigned based on time and interest of the student
