Venture Capital Deal Sourcing Intern

Internship Description: Intern will be responsible for identifying and sourcing companies that may be a candidate for funding. This will include researching angel investor and entrepreneur support groups and events, developing an outreach plan, and overseeing execution of the plan. Intern will represent the Firm by attending virtual events, listening to pitches, assessing for suitability and making recommendations to the partners. May participate in due diligence and deal negotiation. Hours are flexible and variable, expected between 10 – 20 hours per week.

Requirements / Desired Qualifications: Previous experience/desire to learn sales and marketing concepts, ability to work independently, strong verbal and written communication skills

Internship Timeframe: Hiring now, 2021-22 school year, may be extended

Compensation: $12 - $16/hour DOE
