Inventory Specialist

Job Functions:
- Receive shipments and ensure inventory count is accurate to purchase order
- Perform stock transfers and inventory adjustments using warehouse management software
- Create detailed reports to identify low inventory levels for products and shipping supplies
- Work with vendors to order supplies and coordinate deliveries
- Perform stock rotations per first in first out (FIFO) guidelines
- Perform quarterly inventory counts
- Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment
Job Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail - accuracy in work is a must
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work at a computer station and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum of 50lbs
- Ability to frequently bend, squat, stand, walk, push and pull, reach above shoulder level, and perform manual dexterity
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in an inventory role
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience using Warehouse Management System preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
