Social Media / Marketing Intern

Internship Overview / Description

The Social Media / Marketing Intern will support the Operations Manager with the following projects

  • Creating and scheduling Instagram / Facebook campaigns (including posts, stories, and reels) 
  • Writing copy for blog posts and newsletters
  • Developing a presence on Pinterest 
  • Potentially working with our staff to start a Tik Tok 
  • Creating custom designs for photo booth strips, monograms, and other marketing material as needed


Requirements / Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to work 10-20 hours/week
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to write compelling copy
  • Competent with major social media and blogging platforms (including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Tik Tok, Weebly)
  • Some experience with content management systems, word processor applications, and image/video editing software
  • Eye for design
  • Sense of humor
  • Sincere enjoyment of events - willingness to shadow or work a few on weekends would be fantastic!

This is a Bronco Corps Internship

* Must be a current Boise State student, enrolled in classes
* Cannot exceed 29 hours per week (this includes other on-campus employment)
* $14/hour up to 160 hours
