About the Company
The TechHelp studio\Blu New Product Development Lab at Boise State has been working with entrepreneurs, main street businesses and manufacturers to help design and engineer products since 2001. We are recognized for offering creative and innovative solutions across a broad range of disciplines. - This is a part-time position during the regular academic year but can be a full time position during summer sessions and school holidays.
Roles + Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Professional Engineers, Designers and Entrepreneurs to develop relationships, marketing, and business processes
- Gain experience working with clients face-to-face, by email and over the phone
- Assist with project proposal creation, resource management, and business needs of a center
- You'll learn all of the administrative and lab support duties including: setting up routine machine and lab maintenance; customer quoting; shipping and handling orders. project tracking, marketing, invoicing, project setup, and project closeout
- Work with our Support and Financial Management team.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical problem solving skills
- Proven visualization skills
- Experience with marketing or website development
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Great professional attitude and ability to work independently
- Must be a student of Boise State, maintaining a good GPA (2.75 of above). NPD Lab Student Students typically earn a dollar raise each year for positive contributions and longevity to the program.
