Student Videographer
Share the Boise State student story using your video skills! This position works directly with the Student Communications and Marketing team to generate videos, including goals, strategies and schedules. Videos will be used to highlight the student experience, promote campus resources and enhance current social media networks.
Students in this position must be able to work independently (and with others) to:
- Create concepts and write scripts
- Determine music
- Identify talent to perform
- Develop shot lists
- Select photos
- Scout locations
- Create treatments
- Develop style and look
- Schedule filming times and coordinate talent schedules
- Secure talent release forms from all on-camera people
- Shoot video in studio and on location
- Record audio in studio and on location
- Act as producer and editor in production
- Correctly format videos for use
- Upload to YouTube
- Add captions and audio descriptions when necessary
Qualifications
Applicants must have experience in video production and editing. Adobe Premiere Pro is preferred.
