Talent Acquisition Internship at Saint Alphonsus
You will have the opportunity to work under the mentorship of various leaders in the Talent Acquisition department. You will experience the full recruitment process by shadowing resume screenings, phone interviews, and creating job offers. This will provide insight into understanding job descriptions, candidate searches, and the recruitment process in general, while working with one of our experienced recruiters. You will also get some insight into campus strategy and recruitment while helping complete project-work, discussing new recruitment strategies and data-collection, and identifying places of great need in the campus space. In addition, you will spend part of your internship working with the Workforce Development Team.
This work will encompass reaching out to colleagues with growth opportunities and exploring/identifying more avenues for development in the organization. You will also be assisting with events for both recruitment and workforce development. These events will vary from attending job/career fairs to interact with hopeful future-colleagues to visiting schools in the surrounding area to discuss workforce opportunities and growth potential at Saint Alphonsus. You will help find the most creative and effective ways to discuss these programs with current and future employees. This internship will provide a broad range of exposure to working in an HR/Recruitment/TA space and will result in a meaningful student experience.
Please note: Health insurance coverage is required for any student in this role. Student must also pass a 10-panel drug test.
