Communications & Awareness Assistant - Work U Fall 2023
Overview
The Idaho Nonprofit Center –established to educate, advocate, and collaborate in support of stronger nonprofits– is looking for an individual to assist with the creation and implementation of materials to raise awareness of the nonprofit sector statewide.
Duties will include:
- Create social media content for Idaho Nonprofit Awareness Month
- Create communication materials (e.g. written copy, Canva graphics, etc.) for Idaho Philanthropy Day with the direction of senior staff members
- Research potential funding opportunities and collaborate with the COO to expand the impact of the INC
Qualifications
- Quick learner of new software and techniques
- Experience with both technical and creative writing
- Knowledge of social media culture and trends
- Work independently –when needed– and adhere to deadlines
- Interest in nonprofits and awareness/PR campaigns
Skills you will develop:
- Ability to work with many departments and voices to achieve one goal
- Ability to work within the confines of already established brands and creative concept
- Knowledge and experience with grants, fundraisers, and foundations
- Knowledge of nonprofit culture in Idaho
