Content Specialist - Work U Fall 2023
Overview:
The READY! for Kindergarten project at Idaho AEYC is seeking a highly creative and motivated Work U student to support our work that is administered across the state. In this role, you would help to promote the parent workshops offered across the state through social media, blogs, and newsletter content.
Opportunity/Project Duties
▪ Updating content on the website
▪ Drafting blogs featuring different workshop locations
▪ Drafting/scheduling social media content
▪ Promoting workshops on different community calendars
▪ Drafting newsletter content
▪ Writing press releases for different workshop locations throughout the state
Qualifications:
▪ Team oriented, self-starter with good organization, time management and communication skills
▪ Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
▪ Must be creative and have the ability to develop new ideas
▪ Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills
Skills you will develop:
▪ Learning about Idaho’s early learning profession and advocacy for children, families, and those who work on behalf of young children.
▪ Gain insight working within the nonprofit sector
▪ Gain relevant experience toward becoming a strong writer
▪ Develop marketable content creation and marketing skills
Additional Information:
