Food & Beverage Intern - Trillium Restaurant

The Grove Hotel catering facility would like to invite eager individuals interested in expanding their experience in all facets of full-service hotel food and beverage and beyond. Join us as we provide experience in everything from fine dining service to washing dishes. Our food and beverage operation comprises of Trillium Restaurant and Bar, room service, a full-scale catering facility with vast meeting space and a grand ballroom, and thirty-two catered viewing suites for our attached event arena.

Opportunity/Project Duties

  • Work alongside the kitchen in every area from dishes, to prep, line cooking, and catering.
  • Assist the Food & Beverage Director and Executive Sous Chef with ordering, inventory, recruitment, and scheduling.
  • Garner experience in a full-scale catering facility with our Banquet Captains and as a server and houseman.
  • Assist the Banquet Manager with scheduling and recruitment.
  • Engage with our guests in Trillium restaurant as a server, bar back, bartender, cocktail server, busser, and host.
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager with inventory, scheduling, and recruitment.

Qualifications:

  • Must be enthusiastic, personable, and outgoing.
  • Many positions are guest-facing. Must be willing to observe grooming and dress code standards.
  • Experience in an industrial food service environment is welcome but not necessary.
  • Reliability is paramount.
