Compliance and Ethics Intern - Blue Cross of Idaho

Overview

The Compliance department is responsible for creating and updating compliance education, updating corporate policies, communicating important compliance information to employees, oversight of the conflict-of-interest process, and organizing compliance events.

Opportunity/Project Duties: 

  • Work alongside Compliance Leadership to strategize, outline and document Compliance Program maturity pathway.
  • Work with Compliance Manager to develop efficiency improving tools in SharePoint, Excel and other systems pertaining to risk assessment, monitoring and issue resolution activities. 
  • Develop quality review and auditing methods, tools and process descriptions.     
  • Participate in meetings. Read and understand existing processes. Strategize and conceptualize process changes to maturity stages. Document meetings, develop process documents, and develop necessary tools using available Microsoft or other tools.
