Logistics & Supply Chain Intern - Boise Cascade (hybrid)

Boise Cascade is looking for an organized and detail oriented individual to join our team.

Opportunity/Project Duties

  • Learn about how the Wood Products Logistics group supports our mills, BMD Division and other customers.
  • Create departmental overview material and help formulate data models.
  • Develop skills in data analysis and systems management .
  • Get exposure to the rail, truck, and wood products industries – data analysis tools, TMS,  and ERP systems.
  • Understand how to gather logistics and transportation related data/information to create impactful reports that drive business decisions.

Qualifications

  • Seeking a bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business or Supply Chain Management).
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledgeable in the basic operation of standard telecommunications and office equipment.

  • Knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and technological advances that maximize operating efficiency.
