Marketing Generalist Intern - Balsam Brands (hybrid)

Responsibilities:

  • HubSpot Expertise Development: Become an expert in HubSpot, a leading customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing automation platform.
  • Learn to leverage HubSpot's features for B2B marketing, including lead generation, email marketing, and analytics.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Leads to optimize HubSpot usage and improve B2B marketing strategies.
  • LinkedIn Marketing Strategy for B2B: Develop and implement a comprehensive LinkedIn marketing strategy tailored for B2B audiences.
  • Create engaging content, manage company pages, and utilize LinkedIn's advertising tools.
  • Analyze performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
  • Shadow and assist the marketing strategist across various departments with Email Campaigns, Social Media, Print Marketing, Paid Digital Marketing and More.
  • Exposure to Retail, Wholesale, and Sustainability

Qualifications / Applicant Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Creativity and willingness to think outside the box
  • Available for some hours in the office on Tuesday and/or Wednesday
  • Beneficial Skills (Not Limited to Marketing):
    • Data analysis and interpretation
    • Graphic design skills
    • Project management experience
    • Social media savvy across multiple platforms

Skills intern will develop:

  • Gain hands-on experience with HubSpot, a valuable tool in modern marketing and CRM systems, beneficial in sales, customer service, and business operations.
  • Develop marketing strategies and tactics
  • Understand the intricacies of marketing across various businesses

  • Develop project management and time management skills
  • Developing LinkedIn strategies enhance professional networking skills applicable to any career.
  • Exposure to various departments (B2B, Wholesale, Retail, Sustainability) provides a holistic understanding of different business models.
