Overview The ITC has been around for over 15 years and is the voice of industry driving innovation. We put primary focus on the tech talent pipeline and assisting connection investment to innovation. Our work is vital to the Idaho economy and the value an intern would bring would have a measurable impact to our work.
Duties will include:
- Event Planning and Execution:
- Assist in organizing tech-focused events, conferences, and workshops.
- Collaborate with team members to plan logistics, secure venues, and manage registrations.
- Coordinate speakers, sponsors, and volunteers.
- Program Development:
- Contribute to the creation and enhancement of programs that promote digital literacy, technology career pathways, and innovation.
- Develop content for workshops, webinars, and training sessions.
- Community Engagement:
- Engage with ITC members, industry professionals, and local stakeholders.
- Foster relationships with schools, colleges, and other organizations to expand tech outreach.
- Networking and Learning:
- Attend ITC events, such as the Capital Connect Conference1, to network with tech leaders and gain insights into industry trends.
- Data research and collection for the Idaho Tech Statewide tech ecosystem project
- Social media marketing of the project and mining the internet and other sources to help identify all tech related businesses in the state of Idaho and get their permission to add them to a free online directory database.
The successful Work U student will be:

Requirements
- The hours could be flexible, but must be between 9 and 4 pm, Monday - Thursday
