Non-Profit Operations - Boise Corps Internship
This rotational internship provides experience in 4 key areas of non-profit arts administration and operations. Over the course of 16 weeks, this intern will support BCT with initiatives in Human Resources, Development & Fundraising, Sales and Finance.
May 5 – 23: Development & Fundraising
- Update and organize the current donor database
- Support the Development Office with weekly mailings
- Support the Development Office with administrative tasks in support of annual Gala and donor engagement
- Organize & maintain the digital and physical filing system for the Development Office
June 2 – 27: Sales
- Develop and implement a strategy for selling Program Ads for BCT’s 25|26 Season Program
June 30 – July 25: Human Resources
- Update and organize the digital and physical filing system for HR
- Provide administrative support for weekly Payroll
- Research and suggest improvements to HR’s utilization of ADP for efficiency
- Research and suggest improvements to HR’s onboarding process
July 28- Aug 22: Finance
- Support Finance Office with digital and physical filing systems
- Support Finance Office with bank and account reconciliation data entry using Quickbooks Online
- Support Finance Office with collecting and organizing materials for late August/ early September Audit
Requirements / Desired Qualifications
Junior, Senior and Graduate Level
Knowledge & understanding of accounting principles
Knowledge & experience with QuickBooks
Knowledge & experience with ADP
Knowledge, understanding and experience in sales
Strong database management skills
Knowledge & experience in Microsoft Excel & Google Suite
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Strong communication skills
Strong time management skills
Proactive in solving problems promptly

*This program is designed to connect students to internship opportunities in our community - students are paid for their work by Boise State University rather than the hiring organization or business. This is our commitment to helping our business community overcome challenges due to recent economic uncertainties.
*This internship will run May - Aug 2025.

*Must be a current Boise State student, enrolled in classes, graduation date Aug 2025 or later
*Cannot exceed working 40 hours per week, this includes other on- campus employment
*Okay with $16.50/hour up to 160 hours
