- The Treasure Valley's fastest growing independent concert promoter and production company, but we also run digital media and general marketing campaigns for traditional brands. An intern would get immersed in an incredible world of live performances of local and touring musicians and get to participate in all the things that is required to put on shows. Not to mention get to participate in some digital marketing campaigns for a variety of brands!

- This internship will provide 135 hours of partly hourly work and experience in working with live events and entertainment that will qualify for 3 credits (if approved by your internship coordinator). At least 60 paid hours for marketing work, but remainder will be in instruction, shadowing as well as functions for live events and entertainment. Opportunities for gratuity from successful shows.
Compensation
- Hourly rate on approved hours for digital marketing and client work: $15/hour - at least 60 paid hours. Opportunities for gratuity from successful shows.
- Compensation for live events and marketing will be based on actual show attendance
- If event generates a profit, gratuity is available for the intern
- guaranteed: entrance for them + one guest for shows assigned to them for marketing support
Internship/Job Overview or Description
- The interns that will come on for this program will get a deep understanding of the concert promotion world and how to work with clients of all sizes on a variety of marketing projects.
- The needs of the week will vary, but one can expect to have a balance of marketing tasks of client work and duties for live shows and events that include, but not limited to:
- Social media management and strategy
- Graphic design
- Video production
- Digital ads management
- Finance/accounting - reconciling show budgets and balance sheets for live shows
- Hospitality
- Client communication
Requirements / Desired Qualifications:
- Working towards a Bachelors degree in business, marketing, communication, graphic design, or other related disciplines.
- Experience assisting with event planning and operations
- Organized, self-starter, who is interested in the production industry
- own computer and cell phone
- Flexible to work both afternoons and evenings and weekends for live events
- Access to transportation or ability to get transported to arranged and scheduled events
- Live in the Boise, ID DMA (Treasure Valley)
- physically able to walk far distances and remain on their feet for extended periods during live performing events for logistics, video capture and loading/unloading show equipment.
- Be available for at least two instructional touchbase meetings each month.

Shewtonio Productions is now accepting applications for our Summer 2025 Internship Program, offering hands-on experience in the world of digital marketing, live event promotions, and creative project work across a range of commercial, B2B, and B2C clients.
🔥 What You’ll Be Doing:
You won’t be making coffee. This is the real deal.
You’ll work on actual marketing campaigns, contribute to branding, strategy, and digital content development, and play an active role in planning and promoting live events around the Treasure Valley. This is your opportunity to build a professional portfolio and develop the skills needed for careers in marketing, advertising, design, and business.
🎯 Duties Include (but not limited to):
- Assisting in digital marketing campaigns (social media, email, web content)
- Coordinating event promotion and advertising
- Communicate with performing artists and tour management.
- Designing marketing assets (graphics, flyers, digital ads)
- Supporting event setup, coordination, and on-site marketing
- Market research and trend analysis for clients
- Assisting with client presentations and campaign reporting
- Documenting live events for social and marketing purposes
- Representing Shewtonio Productions at events as part of our street team
💰 Compensation & Perks:
- $15/hour for approved digital marketing and client work (minimum 60 paid hours)
