Intern, Human Resources

 

Reports to: Senior Director, Human Resources

Location: Remote Work (only in the following states: AR, CA, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, KS, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, NC, NE, NH, NY, NJ, OH, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI)

Position Summary:  

The Intern, Human Resources will support the Human Resources team members with administrative duties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and self-motivated. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions and develop professional skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support with onboarding activities for employees
  • Provide support for compliance and engagement projects
  • Prepare HR-related reports and presentations as needed
  • Assist in recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Other administrative duties, as assigned

Requirements:

  • Current college student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
  • Strong listening and notetaking skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to process information quickly and work independently
  • Detail-oriented, dependable and highly flexible
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Available for 16-24 hours per week during the Summer 2025 semester
